Tapping into a new genre of rap that’s mixed with a touch of hardcore rock, we get WarriorStxtus from LA, California. This trio consisting of Z13, T-Badger, and Najah from Tokyo, Japan. The three have been friends for a few years before they decided to come together and express themselves anyway they can. Battling their inner demons like everyone else in this industry, they united as one melting pot of stylings from legends like Jimi Hendrix, Rick James, The Machine, and most vitally infused to their unique sound, Miles Davis.
As of right now viewing their newly dropped live music video for their song “Fatal”, shot by NXB, most of their music is centered around, well, screaming, but “with substance over sounds that you could feel make sense” as Z13 told Brain Bakery; they are always trying to change their sound.
Like any alternative rock inspired artists, it’s great to see these three use their talents with instruments in their craft. T-Badger plays the guitar, Najah dabbles with the drums, and Z13 is usually on the vocals.
They have committed to weaving through the industry independent from the labels as they are more than excited to adapt to any category their hearts desire.
