VELVETEARS – Stuck

VELVETEARS dropped off her latest offering, listen to the deep track “Stuck” as she sings about drugs, addiction, & depression.

I made this song 1 year and 5 months ago for my ex boyfriend. Last Friday him and his girlfriend overdosed on heroin and died. I loved him with all my heart, he was my best friend for 3 years and I will miss him every day. Please reach out for help if you know somebody struggling with addiction…every moment could be their last. I myself struggled for a long time, hoping it would kill me, and am so grateful now that it didn’t. Don’t be ignorant or quick to judge, drug addiction is a coping mechanism for depression. Yes drug addicts are hard to deal with, but trust me, their death is a lot harder. No one deserves to feel alone. No one deserves to die so young. Heroin is a murderer, heroin is suicide. I love you all so much and am so sorry for any losses you may have had from drug overdoses. My instagram DM’s are always open 100% judgment free for anyone seeking advice for how to properly help their friends using or advice on how to quit yourself. Have a beautiful night, and remind those who you love that you love them.

[lyrics]
Brown rocks flooding your veins
I’m saying sorry again
You aren’t able to save
So I’ll wait here by your grave
I’ve been praying to nothing
To please save you from yourself
My mama always told me
That you’re my bad for my health
And I’m saying things that cut so deep you can see the blood
And I don’t mean them but I just sit and watch that river run
You looked me in the eyes while you were biting on a gun
But I’m stuck in this dream I can’t run
I’m stuck in this dream I can’t run
