Recording artist HEYGRIMY has released another eye-catching visual for his latest “Pretty Secrets.” The song was produced by Pacific, a music duo that HEYGRIMY found online, and since then they have collaborated on a few tracks. HEYGRIMY really loves how they mastered the pop-rock sound. The South Florida native has been making music for over six years now and his consistency is getting him more recognized.
The inspiration behind “Pretty Secrets” came to HEYGRIMY as a sudden rush of creativity. “It really just hit me as soon as I heard the beat. It instantly connected with me and I just started singing those “woah-oh-oh’s”. I heard the beat while driving and literally pulled over and sung melodies into my voice memos app on my phone so that I wouldn’t forget them…” expressed HEYGRIMY in regards to the inspiration behind the track “Pretty Secrets.”
A memorable line on “PrettySecrets” for me goes: “You’re lonely, I can change your fucking life”. In the interview, HEYGRIMY beautifully describes the meaning behind that line: “Up until that point, the song has been saying “I’M lonely, YOU can change my fucking life” I feel like having that switch on the final chorus was the perfect ending to give the song its own little arc and self-growth meaning underneath.” Stay tuned or more to come from this rising superstar.
