RIVEN‘s new project “Life Of Soul” is an abstract wonderland of sounds and futuristic tuned raps. The 6 track EP with 5 new songs still shows a great amount of diversity as an artist that controls all aspects of the song from the production to the raps and voice effects. “GUAP UP” sounds like a happy trap lullaby then songs like “WOAH WOAH” has hard 808s, deep keys, and evil raps. The song “TRANCE WAVE (AREA 52)” is so weirdly good but indescribable that all I can say is you gotta listen to it. Time will tell if RIVEN came from the future to save hip-hop.
