Qi Yama is a Montreal & Toronto-based recording artist that has released a new single titled “Mountains.” This song is one of the lead singles off of his latest project, New Traditions, which is set to be released in September. “The idea of this project was a clean slate, a new beginning where I really begin to unveil who I am as an artist and producer” expressed Qi Yama in regards to the inspiration behind his upcoming project, New Traditions. All of the music that will be released was produced, written and performed by Qi Yama himself; project engineered by Sam Valentine.
A deep outpour of intention and purpose was put into this music, a journey that has brought Qi Yama to this very moment. “Mountains” speaks about times of trials and tribulations you go through with your loved ones. At the end of the day, the love you share for one another helps you rise above the petty difficulties in the moment.
