Last week Pusha T released his third solo studio album Daytona, which reignited his beef with Drake by dissing him on a track from the album titled ‘Infrared’ . Hours after the release of the album Drake gave us no time to digest the Pusha T track before he responded on all cylinders with ‘Duppy Freestyle‘. Where he took shots not only at Pusha but also the face of G.O.O.D music Kanye West. Since then the Hip Hop community have been eager to hear Pusha’s follow up hoping he would respond with something just as mind blowing as Drake.
WELL HERE WE ARE! After a few days of playoff games and a tiresome “Unpopular opinion” trend on twitter Pusha T joined FunkMasterFlex on Hot 97 today where he debuted his response FIRST. Titled ‘The Story of Adidon‘ Pusha T takes on Jay Z’s ‘The Story of OJ’ instrumental while throwing personal heavy blows not only at Drake , but his Mother , Father , close friend and producer ’40’ , and the Canadian MC’s Baby mom and son?! Pusha T proved that no one is off limits when there is beef.
Throwing shots like
“The M’s count different when Baby divides the pie”
Obviously focusing on the internal beef the former Cash Money signee had with Birdman .
Also
“You mention wedding ring like its a bad thing , your father walked away at 5 hell of a dad thing”
Pusha is responding to Drake mentioning his Fiance (Duppy Freestyle) while following up with the fact that Drake’s father walked out on him and his mother when he was only a little boy.
Pusha stated that this is only the beginning and that there will be more to , proving that this will be a classic beef in Hip Hop. With Drake’s album ‘Scorpion’ releasing in June it is a definite that there will be more bars aimed at the G.O.O.D music President maybe even sooner than the album release . Only time will tell.
