There’s no way you haven’t heard of one of the most talented Asian rappers in the game right now. LA artist PRXJEK recently released a chest-grabbing project dedicated to his birthday, Happy Birthday, PRXJEK. These 6 tracks are a legit journey through different dimensions of music as you venture deeper into the EP. Despite always wearing a mask he doesn’t fall shy in the 1st song to start off, “They Wanna See Me Fail!” which he takes out his anger on a heavy mosh production for the hardships people constantly gave him. This tension and anger with substance trails into “I Need Therapy.” which at this point PRXJEK is just sick and tired of the neediness and goofy competition that keeps arising.

“Sucks 2 Be U” scratch-sound stops the chaos and transforms it into an alternative rock ballad that was actually pleasant to listen to after raging so hard in the beginning. He then switches it up AGAIN in the fan favorite “U Can’t Always Get What U Want” that further highlights the aggressiveness of his fan-base and how they help him but at some point he needs to breathe. But he then delivers a message to the phony artists who are notoriously pump faking the game in “Awake!”. Tying it all down he rolls out with a smooth and steady “Venting At 3 AM” which is perfectly the vibe he describes as he hopes everyone really takes the time to peep the message he was trying to bestow. Truly a wild piece of work but it’s something you want to experience. Stream it on all platforms now.
