PRXJEK makes his second appearance on our blog with this beautiful alternative rock single “Antisocial”, produced by Railrepeater. PRXJEK really gets intimate and open about his true feelings in these lyrics. “I’ve isolated myself for too long. For several years I’ve kept to myself in my room, doing music, avoiding the outside and it’s all taken a toll on me. I no longer am able to speak to people, I mean sometimes I’ll try to make conversation or just say hi but it feels weird when I do, I can’t really explain it but I get this uncomfortable feeling. I used to be so social and outgoing, now I’m to myself and would rather be alone than with others” he admits.
“Even having friends, it never feels real, it’s almost as if it’s all fabricated and I hate the fact I feel this way. That’s why I’m antisocial, I say “you say we’re friends, I don’t think so,” and then I follow with the next line “rather be alone, yeah I’m a weirdo.” Most people have social lives, go out with friends on the weekends, me? I’m always alone, even when I’m around people, it doesn’t matter. So even if I’m with someone it’s still me in my head, I will still be myself. That’s what “Antisocial” is about. How I really am. How I really feel. Me.”
PRXJEK is currently working on a 6-7 track EP set to be released sometime in the near future.
