New music from Lerado Khalil

If you aren’t already familiar with the Minnesota native, expect to soon hear his name and unfamiliar sound. His experimental, new age style can inspire aspiring artists to freely express themselves creatively. Lerado Khalil has kept his consistency but developed something entirely new with each new track. He has added 3 impressive singles to his public discography within the last month.

“GOT ME FUCKED UP” is a messy, expressive dose of alternative hip-hop. His muddy and distorted flow complement the sample and deep drum break on the instrumental. The second half of the song slows down and allows a spotlight for Lerado to let out some rage similar to breaks in violent songs from XXXTENTACION.

The second most recent song takes on a introspective, chill vibe with a perfect addition of rapper MAVI. This low pace instrumental can be categorized as acid jazz that gives their verses an open-mic feel. The poetic word flow from both artists resembles that of Earl Sweatshirt. MAVI has worked with the young veteran before and is evolving this unique sound with everything he touches.

Fast paced and high pitched, its a surprise that this song didn’t come out of South Florida as it sounds similar to the fast music part of the culture down here. Lerado is “Manuever”-ing through the bullsh*t around him. Catch me riding through Broward blasting this track.
