Chicago-based artist Morgan Pirtle has shared a hypnotizing new single called “TS4L.” An independent singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Chicago, Pirtle grew up with the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and Carole King echoing through her musical home. This early introduction to music led her to pursue a degree in Vocal Jazz. Her in-depth studies of the genre led her to naturally blend jazz with other contemporary influences, painting ethereal and impactful soundscapes with her music. Her latest single “TS4L” captures her evocative and idiosyncratic sound, as well as her knack for mixing classic jazz influences with modern stylings from R&B, electronic, and more, and it makes for a refreshing summer soundtrack. Containing production from accomplished musician Aaron Day, “TS4L” is a track that is easy to continuously re-visit, with infectious yet laid-back grooves and focused melodies from Pirtle that draw the listener in to the song’s vibrant atmosphere. “TS4L” makes for a strong release from the Chicago artist overall, and has us excited for what may be coming next from her.
