MEMBERS ONLY make an abrupt return with an eerie banger that’s sure to turn heads. Kid Trunks, Bass Santana, and Dready get together for what sounds like an evolved version of the style they took over South Florida with in the early days of the group’s rise. They’ve made their mark on the game by the way they shock listeners with their loud and menacing energy on songs that come out raw and distinct. Each of them added their own specialties to the new track “Donuts” for a truly original and evolutionary sound for the group.
Kid Trunks starts off in a low raspy tone building up the critical drop with keen bars before Bass Santana comes in with astonishing energy. With bars so prominent that each one hits and grabs your attention more than the last. Many fans were surprised to hear an appearance by Dready who added depth and story to the song with his complex raps and blunt delivery. Kid Trunks spazzed on the striking hook which engineers chopped up and distorted to add that unexpected element to the song.
What really set the stage for such a unique and experimental song was the production by the masterful FON$O and Alex Jordan. Together, they really experimented and implemented some different creative aspects that is going to have other producers hungry for the sauce. That ominous rising sound with the distorted and whipped drums came out to be the perfect grounds for MEMBERS ONLY to go crazy. FON$O and Alex Jordan have been at the forefront of this new sound Kid Trunks and Bass Santana have been developing lately.
