Maeve Kelley Releases The Ultimate Post-Break Up Song “Got Away”

Maeve Kelley has released her highly anticipated single titled “Got Away”. The track was originally written by Kelley at the tender age of seventeen, with her first ever acoustic guitar, shortly after a her first big breakup. The song scolds an ex-lover, about his lying ways. You can hear the passio and rage in Kelley’s impactful vocals. The unraveling of the story, with the unmatched angst and rage of a heartbroken teenage girl, makes “Got Away” the ultimate heartbreak recovery song. Fastforward to today, she’s finally met with the opportunity to record and co-produce this track with frequent collaborator Juan Fleischer, also known as Wraith.

The duo produced the song from scratch with Juan engineering and recording vocals. Being their third single working together they really like to work hands-on building out the instrumental, the two feel their share incredible experiences being in the studio as a team. Maeve has been making music since a very early age from childhood to adolescence she’s immersed herself in all things music production as well as vocal training. From choirs to acapella groups, to musical theatre and open mics Maeve has experience under her belt now working on her unreleased work she’s kept in the vault since fifteen. Back in the Spring of 2019 Maeve released “Baby Blue” followed by her second debut track “Jupiter’s Child” in November of the same year. Both songs heavily soul and jazz inspired juxtaposes this third release leaning sonically towards pop. Maeve plans to work on producing and recording more music and has her debut EP underway.
