NYC-Based recording artist KiloRu has been gaining momentum in the music industry since the release of his visual for his latest single “Lately” featuring rapper Dramasav. KiloRu has been making music all of his life, his skillset can be felt in his tone and delivery on “Lately” and his full catalogue. “I began making music since I was 8 years old, that’s when I started writing lyrics, but I finally took it to the studio when I came to New York…” expressed Kilo about his creative beginnings. The official music video for “Lately” has amassed more than 90k views on YouTube already since its release in August of 2021.
“Lately” was produced by @dearyouchris and was mixed and recorded by @young.fetti, both members are an important part of KiloRu’s team. The visual highlights a glimpse at gang-life and the everyday reality KiloRu and his friends experience. KiloRu should be dropping an EP titled True Story Part 2, sometime in March which will consist of 5 songs.
