Check out La Ville in his comforting dark track “GRIM REAPER” produced by Godlife and YDDMATT. La Ville grew up in the popular hub of Broward County where certain influences like XXXtentacion came from as well as SpaceGhostPurrp from Miami which isn’t too far away. He’s been making music since he was 13 years old having been apart of a church choir because of his Caribbean parents always vibing to something in the house and just stumbled himself into rap for its expression since he feels like his father, who is a poet, has also passed on his creativity.
Mixing in other influences such as The Weeknd, Michael Jackson, and Bob Marley, “GRIM REAPER” represented a solemn time in La Ville’s life. Battling depression isn’t easy within the music industry so it is amazing how music forms as an outlet for people like La Ville to give others a helping hand and let them know they are not alone in their struggles. He hopes to be the cushion listeners need in this time of music, to leave a legacy. Until then, his face remains unknown. Give it a listen and explore his page:
