Dark clouds keep a certain balance in someone’s mind, the true strength is to see the slither of light between those clouds, and use that to cling on to hope. Baltimore native Kunle (Chris) Olaniran started Vital Clothing to push a message of growth and self-assurance.
“My inspiration comes from my overall desire to be optimistic” states Olaniran, the 24-year-old photographer, writer, and graphic designer. “The designs are an extension of my personality, and my way of encouraging others to be themselves”.
With a mixture of psychedelic graphics and a unique color palette, Vital is the materialized vision of an artist trying to spread the message of reaching a new state of being. “It’s not always easy but through self-discovery and determination, we can reach our most ‘vital’ state”.
