Texas rappers KCG Josh and Hoodlum recently linked for a punchline filled video for their aptly named track “Texas Boys Freestle,” shot by acetheshooter. The Texas pair showed off their unique flows and grimy lyrics over the 808 heavy instrumental. I enjoyed Hoodlum’s verse and it has been fun to watch him develop as an artist since my introduction to him nearly a year ago with his song “Scam.” KCG Josh also performed very well and is a talent to continue watching out of Texas as his reputation and stature only grows.
