Jelani Malik releases a sonically amusing album titled INSIDE. The album is packed with hits to be real, I’m not even gonna lie I was into it from the moment I listened to the second track “GONE.” On “GONE” he speaks about having insurmountable faith, and being driven by his family & faith. It’s truly a beautiful track and the sample he used (it sounds like a sample) makes the beat hit. You can tell the album was intentionally put together filled with skits and tracks that tell a story. Over all, INSIDE an introspective tale of Jelani Malik’s current state of mind.
On INSIDE, you can also find the lead single “CIRCLES” featuring Ada Tate on the album. Most of the album was produced by Jelani Malik himself and Neo-Neo, the production and engineering/mixing & mastering are truly astounding. Jelani Malik is currently putting together a live show to follow his recent album release and is also currently working on his next album which is anticipated to be released in by the summer of 2023. I am a huge fan of self produced/engineered artists, this album even has a skit in it, it is a well put together project!
