FCG Heem drops off a dose of genuine street rap with his new album “Letter to my People“. This album will put you in tune with the struggle and obstacles of trying to make something of yourself in the hood. In a sad and sincere way he raps on soulful beats like NBA Youngboy. Many of the sounds on the songs are jazz and r&b inspired with hip-hop drums. On “Believers” he talks about the people in your community who never believed in you and wanted you to conform to the society they have. Then on “Street Wounds” he talks about all the pain he’s gone through because of this lifestyle and how he uses drugs and money to cope. All very emotionally connected and made relatable. FCG Heem is an example of the diversity of artists that come from Broward County.
