Edie Yvonne is finding her place in the music industry early on

Edie Yvonne’s music conveys a positive message through relatable lyrics, which is exactly what the music world needs.  Couple that with her youthful spirit (she’s only 14!) and you have got yourself a star in the making.  The LA-based singer-songwriter may have only just begun her musical journey, but it’s clear from the onset that she is going to make it far.  After all, she’s been doing this for as long as she can remember.

“My abuela is a Nicaraguan opera singer and we have been making music together since I was very young,” said Edie Yvonne.  “I worked with singing coach Katie Riggs growing up and did a lot of musical theater at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts.”

Edie Yvonne has been hard at work recently; her anti-Valentine’s Day single “Random Boy” is soon to be followed by two more singles, titled “On Your Mind” and “Stain”.  Edie brings her real-life touch to both of the tracks, which exponentially increases their meaning to her.

“We are about to finish ‘On Your Mind’ which I’m most excited about,” said Edie Yvonne.  “Another new single in production is ‘Stain’ [which] is about my birthmark and how when I went out after quarantine and forgot how people are so insensitive to difference.”

Fleshing out her feelings about the experiences she’s had and the people she’s come into contact with is clearly Edie’s best outlet.  It explains why she is giving music her all at such a young age; she is determined to get her feelings out there for the world to hear.

“If someone makes me angry, disappointed or sad…it seems to come out in a song pretty spontaneously,” she said.

Edie Yvonne will no doubt continue her magical ascent to the upper echelons of the music industry in style.  Her debut album At Ease is scheduled to be released soon, but in the meantime, there’s plenty of Edie Yvonne to enjoy, especially knowing that there’s more to come.
