The three musketeers of this track, DVSH, Kg Prince and Lino Slatt, go back-to-back-to-back off one another and spit three different and insane verses. This song is a breath of fresh air from the norm of right now. Many artists choose to hop on rage beats, dom-corelo-type beats, yeat-type beats, and more, but DVSH does the opposite and lets his bars take the spotlight.
“DWEEB” by DVSH is a simple yet great song. The beat is your average menacing piano melody paired with a hard-hitting, bouncy, bay-area-type bass. The beat loops mostly, but the artists’ performances make this song great. The three show their audience that this is a collaboration that they never knew they needed. These artists spit insane verses that create a sense of competition. Fans are left to argue which verse is the best, but they all have their great respective qualities:
- DVSH: DVSH took a direct and honest approach with his verse. He seems to be dissing a particular person and telling them he’s not a person to be taken lightly.
- Kg Prince: Kg Prince’s cadence and tone for his verse make it great. He’s in this in-between zone of whispering and his natural voice, which makes his verse seem calculated and direct, like DVSH’s.
- Lino Slatt: Lino Slatt opens his verse with authentic but humourous bars. This hooks the listener for the rest of his verse. Not only can the listener enjoy the menace behind the words, but they can also find them funny because of what he’s saying.
