Tampa has been a creative factory lately because we keep coming in contact with people like C.O.P.E which means Creator of Positive Energy (real name Chris Copeland). C.O.P.E. is the son of a former NFL Wide Receiver and County Jail Mental Health Specialist who helped develop the ambitious and kind person he is today. Now most growing creatives all go through a rough patch in life, but Mr. Copeland found himself putting his thoughts on paper as an outlet. This poetry which later matured into his recent music gave that blanket of feel-good sounds many of us need, plus he is his own engineer. 
With a strong upbringing to some OG influences such as Nas, Jay Z, Tupac and A Tribe Called Quest, C.O.P.E. definitely delivers a cohesive mix of those sounds in his Wavy EP now streaming on all platfoms!
