A mindset for success often comes with determination and a plan. Being an artist means your work is judged by yourself or others whether you want it or not. Gypsyale looks into the aspect of having people impacted by her work. She states “I want people to enjoy my art and relate to it, i want it to be something anyone can look at and know what it is and hopefully like it.”which is an important mindset and attitude for a growing artist.
Taking influences from our everyday lifes is something we all do even if it doesn’t involve art. We can say it is something special though when it does involve art. Gypsyale has a few creatives that inspire her such as Junk Food artist Keith Haring and Steven Harrington which both have a cartoon/ comic style mindset. Gypsyale is on the same page and has her own style when it comes to this type of art. Pushing yourself to new forms of art and creating pieces you other wised envisioned as hard is a step that must be taking if you want growth in this field. Gypsyale takes that understanding and kicks its ass by doing just that. The way shes developed her career is not only from creating art at school or in the art club but by also helping to make art for others. She states “Lately i’ve been doing art for all kinds of things, i take any art requests from people, and i think that itself is helping me grow and also take me out of my comfort zone and draw things for what the people want and not for just what i can do.“. Future plans of creating merchandise and labeling her own brand isn’t too far. She may be releasing new stickers soon and wants to add some of her designs to shirts for her supporters. We can definitely say shes an artist to keep your eye on.
