The mass talent in Southern California is unreal and LvckTheDesigner embodies that idea and is happy to call it his home. Repping IE/Inland Empire Lvck has been designing for 4 years counting with it all starting his senior year of high school. The projects he tackled came easy to him and basically lead him to making clothing concepts and cover art for his friends. His mindset states “I just fell in love with being able to bring designs and ideas I see in my head to real life.” with no idea that his new profound love would bring a new meaning to what he wanted to do with his life.
Regardless of what you create even if you did or didn’t give it a message to offer, the creation still has a significant meaning that has came from somewhere within. With Lvck he aims to inspire the masses through visual pleasure and wants us to gain our own meaning from what we see through his work. He states “Ultimately I’d say that I really aim to inspire, like I want people to see my work and get the same feeling that I get when I go to Art Museums, energized and inspired.” With that this creative is doing nothing less than passing on great energy to his viewers and audience.
As we all know by now inspiration comes from many places and Lvck has a few artist and styles he personally rocks with. Well know artist such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Haruki Murakami, and Jean-Michel Basquiat are just to name the least. Fashion designers is a serious topic to Lvck as well and is probably something to best engage a conversation with him in. We cant forget about music, the art of vibration and the people that make them such as Depeche Mode to Johnny Cash but his taste for punk and rap go way back to his middle school era. We asked what else and Lvck states “I also get a lot of inspiration from just people and things around me I see in everyday life whether it be close friends, family, strangers or magazine covers and Vintage Ads. I really try to look for ideas in everything around me no matter where I am.”
The ways Lvck has developed his career are very notable. He states “I would say reaching out to artists I want to work with through DM’s is what’s helped me build connections here and there but my work ethic is something I really pride myself in. I work fast, detailed for the most part, and I really try to put my own spin on everything I do whether it’s something small or a big project I put all my energy into what I do.“. He does consider himself an underground artist but isn’t limiting his title to just that since he is well on his way to being something more. Whether on tho go or at home he has always found time to create art and doesn’t let his resources limit him, rather finding a way to use limited resources to create even better art. Now that’s really amazing.
Future goals as a creative is important and he has quiet a few. With 2019 on the way his vision is clear he states “I’ve been planning out my brand for about 2 years now and I’d say I have about over 200 designs at the moment for shirts and hoodies and such I’m just waiting for the right time to release them which I hope to be 2019“. Within the next 5 years he plans on having his brand on go with full collections and different articles of clothing for the world.
