When the industry says Canada our first glance is Toronto, but this duo is about to put Ottawa on the map. Aligo Wav and YardboyK have teamed up to release their single “Ground Floor”. A part of their upcoming EP titled “The Winner’s Circle EP” the two have made strides and waves both together and separately. Soaking in the ideas and feelings of groundbreaking success they embody the feeling of making that big leap.
The duo have been at the music game both since youngin’s but have fruitfully evolved their craft to an original sound. The track produced by Doc Jones really encapsulates the power these two hold together in the booth while each having their own impressive track records. Aligo has been in the music game for nearly a decade now, as a vocalist and a drummer over in London he shifted and began improving his craft while being amongst some of the UK’s greatest producers.
While YardboyK had been perfecting his craft along the way. Once gaining recognition and buzz at fifteen dropping his own music, the two collided to form this all powerful duo and have a few projects up their sleeve. “The Winner’s Circle” EP set to release May 20th is just the tip of the iceberg for these two, with hints that they have about three to four more projects already in the chamber it’s safe to say these two ain’t nothing to mess with. YardboyK also plans to release music himself under the guidance of Aligo, either together or separate the future seems bright for them and for the city of Ottawa.
