My recent discoveries are giving me a sense that Orlando has much more to offer than I thought. 2SeaterCoop is today’s find with a surprisingly strong sound for someone who really hasn’t been recognized. From the instruments, to the kicks, and his vocals 2SeaterCoop provides some of my favorite aspects of modern rap music. Such a powerful start to his career tells me a great deal about his potential.
“Weekend” starts off with pretty, drowned out notes giving a somber feeling to the song. The beat is unorthodox with deep 808’s and quirky, scattered drums for some validity that 2SeaterCoop’s music is something different and original from what’s generally made and heard. Going by “coopy!”, his vocals are loud but monotone with perfect pitch and echo. 2SeaterCoop got a smooth sound that really compliments the song. RSEVN directs the dark, dreamy video with bright colors highlighting 2SeaterCoop in his LoveMeOrLeaveMe hoodie. Along with the song this video puts viewers in a trance like the goods they’re on. 2SeaterCoop also recently dropped “SRT” a much harder version of his style.
